HARMONIOUS HORIZONS: HUMANITY AND NATURE

The narrative of the new collection is multifaceted: it speaks to the beauty of impermanence and the importance of embracing our humanity in all its complexities with energy. It encourages introspection and invites individuals to interact with their garments as a source of comfort and expression in uncertain times. It embraces the symbiotic relationship between humanity and nature, with patterns inspired by flora and fauna that evoke a deep connection to the surrounding environment. Each piece is designed to offer a sense of tranquillity and refuge in a fast-paced era, with understated elegance and minimalist designs.

ALT-OPTIMISM
The ANTEPRIMA SS25 collection radiates an aura of optimism, offering a sense of hope and reassurance in uncertain times, inviting the wearer to embrace their humanity and find comfort in the beauty of the world around them.

RUSTIC ELEGANCE
The imperfection of Beauty with Intangible Energies. Discovering small joys and finding hope in every moment. The collection explores the balance between humanity and nature in an ever-changing world, inviting reflection on one’s place in the universe.

TRANSPARENCIES
Anteprima’s SS25 collection plays with transparencies and shades of color to add fun and surprise. Lightweight, layered materials gently veil and reveal, representing the balance between the apparent and the hidden.

FABRICS
Translucent and soft fabrics exude a subtle sensuality. Sheer chiffon, silk gauze, and nylon blends appear with all-over patterns featuring barely perceptible textures. The shapes are soft, and the materials are puffed and woven into imaginative forms.

COLORS
Warm, vibrant tones contrast with cool and translucent shades. The combination of earthy neutrals and nostalgic blues transports the wearer to places of calm and renewal: soothing hues that evoke a sense of comfort and harmony.

THE FLOWER: ALLIUM
Allium flowers are known for their spherical shape, symbolizing unity, humility, and patience. They are often associated with prosperity and good fortune.

WIREBAG
Inspired by Mika Tajima’s works, featuring green glass and metallic nozzles, this glass sculpture is envisioned through a knitted technique using a transparent yet structured material.

MIKA TAJIMA

In Latin, “anima” translates to breath: in her works, breath is captured and transformed into a solid, visible form. Tajima’s art, expressed through sculpture, painting, and installation, explores themes of control, performance, and freedom. She examines how human behavior and emotions have changed, and how technologies and ideologies shape our lives. Born in Los Angeles in 1975, Tajima earned a degree in East Asian Studies from Bryn Mawr University (PA) in 1997 and a Master’s in Fine Arts from Columbia University’s School of the Arts in 2003. Early in her career, she formed “New Humans,” an art collective that presented installations and other works with musicians and performers. Tajima creates pieces that incorporate elements of physics and technology, seeking anthropological and cultural responses. Her series “Negative Entropy,” considered one of her most recent representative works, is a Jacquard-woven portrait based on graphic data obtained by analysing spectrograms of sound sources recorded by Tajima in various locations and environments. The Jacquard loom is also known for having inspired punch cards (binary code) used in early computer programming.
