Monte-Carlo Fashion Week Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary from May 17 to 21, 2023
Monaco, March 20, 2023. Monte-Carlo Fashion Week is the official fashion event of the Monaco Principality. The 2023 edition will celebrate its 10th anniversary and will take place from May 17 to 21.
Monte-Carlo Fashion Week, placed Under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Princess Charlene of Monaco, has been organized since 2013 by the Monegasque Chamber of Fashion (Chambre Monégasque de la Mode) and gains in prestige year after year, with its unique cross-sectoral program, which has contributed to make the event an important point of reference for “Green” fashion.
The event will once again highlight the world of fashion in the Principality by attracting a large number of participants and professionals, with particular attention to ethical and sustainable fashion, one of the fundamental objectives of the Chambre Monégasque de la Mode. It will be composed of a rich panel that will include the presence of the most innovative designers on the international scene and important moments of reflection on the main themes related to circularity, eco-sustainability, inclusiveness, and diversity, which are becoming more and more essential: fashion shows by iconic, emerging and eco-sustainable designers either international or Monegasque; fashion conferences and symposia; social events, cocktail parties; fashion hub and pop-up; and the long-awaited Monte-Carlo Fashion Awards Ceremony, which rewards designers and personalities who have particularly distinguished themselves in this field.
For its tenth edition, Monte-Carlo Fashion Week will take over certain emblematic places of the Principality: a Fashion Map which extends from the Yacht Club of Monaco where the Fashion Hub, the Showrooms, and the conferences will be based in partnership with the International University of Monaco and the Financial Times Luxury Summit symposium, passing by the magnificent new Museum of the Private Collection of Cars of H.S.H. the Prince of Monaco, which will host the fashion shows, to finish at the Grande Verrière of the Grimaldi Forum with the prestigious Fashion Awards Ceremony.
Circularity is not a temporary fashion trend, but the key to the future, starting with the catwalk. This is the winning bet of Monte-Carlo Fashion Week, the event which once again confirms its role as a showcase for trends and, at the same time, perpetuates its essence as a benchmark platform for circular, ethical, eco-friendly, sustainable and inclusive fashion

Also noteworthy is the charitable commitment of the MCFW © which supports for the seventh consecutive year the Fondation Princesse Charlène de Monaco. The main objective of the Foundation is to save lives by fighting drownings. Its missions are aimed at raising public awareness of the dangers of water, teaching children preventive measures, and teaching them to swim. Sport is also used as a tool to contribute to the well-being and development of children.
